Why is it so much cheaper than other editors?
Because all the work happens on your Mac. We don’t pay for servers each time you edit a video, so we don’t need to charge you each month.
Do I have to subscribe?
No. You can buy erm once for $29.99 and keep it for good. If you’d rather pay less up front, you can subscribe for $19.99 a year instead. Either way there are no credits and no “pro” tier on top: both unlock everything.
What if my subscription ends?
erm goes back to the free rules: you can still open, review and play any video, and exporting a video you’ve exported before stays free. Exporting new videos needs a purchase or an active subscription. If you’ve bought erm outright, you stay unlocked for good.
Can I use it on more than one Mac?
Yes. Both options work on every Mac signed in to your Apple Account, and can be shared with your family through Family Sharing.
